On July 15, 2009 Etica SGR voted in the shareholders’ meeting. The company is a British based large retailer. We voted for every item in the agenda except from two (voted against and abstention).
On July 03, 2009 Etica SGR voted in the company’s general meeting. Tesco is a British medium-large retailer. Etica SGR, together with the other institutional investors, voted against the approval of the remuneration report reaching a total of 40% in the pool.
The shareholders’ meeting was held in London on April 30, 2009. Etica SGR voted against the approval of the management’s retribution plan and abstained from the vote about the financing of the political parties due to a limited disclosure about the issue.
Like every year, Etica SGR took part and voted in the shareholder’s meeting held on April 29, 2009. Etica SGR voted for every item in the agenda; our intervention was focused on the critical issue about the factory closing in None.i The dialogue with the company has been the key.
