For the fourth consecutive year, Etica Sgr participated at the shareholders’ meeting of Yoox held in Milan on 30 April 2015, voting in favour of all items on the agenda.
Etica Sgr attended the shareholders’ meeting to call management’s attention to some aspects linked to corporate sustainability.
Etica Sgr expressed appreciation for the preparation of the third Sustainability Report in accordance with the international standards of the Global Reporting Initiative and congratulated the company for the results achieved as part of the Climate Change initiative of the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), with a further improvement on 2013, making it one of the top three Italian companies in terms of reporting. The Company was also invited to consider the “Water” questionnaire of CDP itself. Greater attention was also requested in relation to the supply chain, appreciating Yoox’s intention to add criteria of an environmental nature into the supplier selection process starting from next year.
Etica Sgr emphasised the importance of adopting a specific policy on human rights, including quantitative objectives and addressed to all Group Companies.
On the issue of remuneration, the company was asked for more comprehensive reporting in relation to the maximum limits of the variable remuneration, in anticipation of indicators of an environmental nature also being included as performance objectives, as promised during the shareholders’ meeting last year.
Finally, Etica Sgr supported, together with other institutional investors and members of Assogestioni, a minority list of candidates for the Board of Directors and one for the Board of Auditors.
