When investing in our ethical funds you can choose to devolve 0.1% of invested capital (1 euro every 1000) in favour of an Etica fund Sgr fund that guarantees microfinance projects and supports high social and environmental impact crowdfunding initiatives. The projects and initiatives are selected and run by Banca Etica.
With the quota destined to crowdfunding, we help finance high social and environmental impact initiatives promoted by the Banca Etica network through online fundraising campaigns.
The contribution
In the case of specific calls for proposals, the contribution is granted to those projects that reach 75% of their funding target during the crowdfunding activity, benefiting from an amount corresponding to the difference between the funding target itself and the amount raised through crowdfunding. For projects that reach or exceed 100% of their funding target, the contribution may also include amounts granted as bonuses up to a maximum of 5% of the funding target of each project.
In the case of projects consistent with the purposes of the Banca Etica Group (direct selection without recourse to calls for proposals), the contribution granted for all projects that reach at least 90% of their funding target corresponds to the difference between the funding target itself and the amount raised through crowdfunding, up to a maximum of 10% of the funding target of each project. In this case, no further forms of bonuses are provided.
The contributions are granted by Etica Sgr at the request of Banca Etica, until the funds allocated each year for crowdfunding are exhausted.
